Someday I'll wish upon a star.. And wake up where the clouds are far.. Behind me. Where troubles melt like lemon drops.. Away above the chimney tops.. That's where you'll find me.
And sometimes when we touch.. The honesty's too much.. And I have to close my eyes and hide.. I wanna hold you til I die.. Til we both break down and cry.. I wanna hold you till the fear in me subsides..

Relations
Family. Career. Friends. Money. Men.
Love. Passion. Care. Needs. Wants.
Always. No choice. Sometimes. Maybe. Why not?
Support. Confident. Sweet. Not everything. Evil.

Some things are better left unsaid.
I am a chatterbox.
I lied when I said that I'm tired of talking.
God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason. Which is to listen more and talk less.
Listen more. I told myself that, but I just couldn't.
I always talk.
Once the red button is triggered, I could talk for hours or days.
I talk. Talk at the wrong time, wrong occassion, wrong place.
How shameful, when things could not turn back because of what you have said.
How sad, when things are broken because of you.
I told smokers to quit smoking, cos it hurts your lungs.
I told drinkers to quit drinking, cos it hurts your livers.
I should quit talking, cos it hurts my heart.
All the time.
Your annoyances, caused by my destructive words.
Your negligence, caused by my obsessiveness, possessiveness and high expectations.
So sorry. To whom/those who I have hurted in any ways before.
Painful experiences.
Have built who I am today.
Also lead to fear, illness and cold.
Disappointment and frustrations.
Some things are better left unsaid.
So I take it all on my own.
I cry. I laugh.
I see. I learn.
I read. I write.
Till the fear in me subsides.
Louise

Some of CONFUSING ENGLISH make me headache, would u help me?

3. If olive oil comes from olives, where does baby oil come from?
4. If people from Poland are called Poles, why aren't people from Holland called Holes?
5. Do infants enjoy infancy as much as adults enjoy adultery?
6. Why the man who invests all your money called a broker?
7. If horrific means to make horrible, does terrific mean to make terrible?
8. Why is it called building when it is already built?
9. If a book about failures doesn't sell, is it a success?
10. If you're not supposed to drink and drive, then why do bars have parking lots?
11. If you take an Oriental person and spin him around several times, does he become disoriented?
12. If vegetarians eat vegetables, what do humanitarians eat?? Human ??

Obama's victory speech - truly amazing and inpiring!
Tuesday, November 4th, 2008, Chicago, Illinois:
Text of President-elect Barack Obama's victory speech in Chicago on Tuesday, as released by his campaign:
If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer. It's the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen; by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the very first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different; that their voice could be that difference. It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Latino, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled - Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been a collection of Red States and Blue States: we are, and always will be, the United States of America. It's the answer that led those who have been told for so long by so many to be cynical, and fearful, and doubtful of what we can achieve to put their hands on the arc of history and bend it once more toward the hope of a better day. It's been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America.
I just received a very gracious call from Senator McCain. He fought long and hard in this campaign, and he's fought even longer and harder for the country he loves. He has endured sacrifices for America that most of us cannot begin to imagine, and we are better off for the service rendered by this brave and selfless leader. I congratulate him and Governor Palin for all they have achieved, and I look forward to working with them to renew this nation's promise in the months ahead.
I want to thank my partner in this journey, a man who campaigned from his heart and spoke for the men and women he grew up with on the streets of Scranton and rode with on that train home to Delaware, the Vice President-elect of the United States, Joe Biden. I would not be standing here tonight without the unyielding support of my best friend for the last sixteen years, the rock of our family and the love of my life, our nation's next First Lady, Michelle Obama. Sasha and Malia, I love you both so much, and you have earned the new puppy that's coming with us to the White House. And while she's no longer with us, I know my grandmother is watching, along with the family that made me who I am. I miss them tonight, and know that my debt to them is beyond measure. To my campaign manager David Plouffe, my chief strategist David Axelrod, and the best campaign team ever assembled in the history of politics - you made this happen, and I am forever grateful for what you've sacrificed to get it done. But above all, I will never forget who this victory truly belongs to - it belongs to you. I was never the likeliest candidate for this office. We didn't start with much money or many endorsements. Our campaign was not hatched in the halls of Washington - it began in the backyards of Des Moines and the living rooms of Concord and the front porches of Charleston.
It was built by working men and women who dug into what little savings they had to give five dollars and ten dollars and twenty dollars to this cause. It grew strength from the young people who rejected the myth of their generation's apathy; who left their homes and their families for jobs that offered little pay and less sleep; from the not-so-young people who braved the bitter cold and scorching heat to knock on the doors of perfect strangers; from the millions of Americans who volunteered, and organized, and proved that more than two centuries later, a government of the people, by the people and for the people has not perished from this Earth. This is your victory.
I know you didn't do this just to win an election and I know you didn't do it for me. You did it because you understand the enormity of the task that lies ahead. For even as we celebrate tonight, we know the challenges that tomorrow will bring are the greatest of our lifetime - two wars, a planet in peril, the worst financial crisis in a century. Even as we stand here tonight, we know there are brave Americans waking up in the deserts of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan to risk their lives for us. There are mothers and fathers who will lie awake after their children fall asleep and wonder how they'll make the mortgage, or pay their doctor's bills, or save enough for college. There is new energy to harness and new jobs to be created; new schools to build and threats to meet and alliances to repair.
The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even one term, but America - I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. I promise you - we as a people will get there. There will be setbacks and false starts. There are many who won't agree with every decision or policy I make as President, and we know that government can't solve every problem. But I will always be honest with you about the challenges we face. I will listen to you, especially when we disagree. And above all, I will ask you join in the work of remaking this nation the only way it's been done in America for two-hundred and twenty-one years - block by block, brick by brick, calloused hand by calloused hand.
What began twenty-one months ago in the depths of winter must not end on this autumn night. This victory alone is not the change we seek - it is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were. It cannot happen without you. So let us summon a new spirit of patriotism; of service and responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves, but each other. Let us remember that if this financial crisis taught us anything, it's that we cannot have a thriving Wall Street while Main Street suffers - in this country, we rise or fall as one nation; as one people.
Let us resist the temptation to fall back on the same partisanship and pettiness and immaturity that has poisoned our politics for so long. Let us remember that it was a man from this state who first carried the banner of the Republican Party to the White House - a party founded on the values of self-reliance, individual liberty, and national unity. Those are values we all share, and while the Democratic Party has won a great victory tonight, we do so with a measure of humility and determination to heal the divides that have held back our progress. As Lincoln said to a nation far more divided than ours, "We are not enemies, but friends...though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection." And to those Americans whose support I have yet to earn - I may not have won your vote, but I hear your voices, I need your help, and I will be your President too. And to all those watching tonight from beyond our shores, from parliaments and palaces to those who are huddled around radios in the forgotten corners of our world - our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared, and a new dawn of American leadership is at hand. To those who would tear this world down - we will defeat you. To those who seek peace and security - we support you. And to all those who have wondered if America's beacon still burns as bright - tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from our the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity, and unyielding hope.
For that is the true genius of America - that America can change. Our union can be perfected. And what we have already achieved gives us hope for what we can and must achieve tomorrow. This election had many firsts and many stories that will be told for generations. But one that's on my mind tonight is about a woman who cast her ballot in Atlanta. She's a lot like the millions of others who stood in line to make their voice heard in this election except for one thing - Ann Nixon Cooper is 106 years old. She was born just a generation past slavery; a time when there were no cars on the road or planes in the sky; when someone like her couldn't vote for two reasons - because she was a woman and because of the color of her skin.
And tonight, I think about all that she's seen throughout her century in America - the heartache and the hope; the struggle and the progress; the times we were told that we can't, and the people who pressed on with that American creed: Yes we can. At a time when women's voices were silenced and their hopes dismissed, she lived to see them stand up and speak out and reach for the ballot. Yes we can.
When there was despair in the dust bowl and depression across the land, she saw a nation conquer fear itself with a New Deal, new jobs and a new sense of common purpose. Yes we can. When the bombs fell on our harbor and tyranny threatened the world, she was there to witness a generation rise to greatness and a democracy was saved. Yes we can. She was there for the buses in Montgomery, the hoses in Birmingham, a bridge in Selma, and a preacher from Atlanta who told a people that "We Shall Overcome." Yes we can. A man touched down on the moon, a wall came down in Berlin, a world was connected by our own science and imagination. And this year, in this election, she touched her finger to a screen, and cast her vote, because after 106 years in America, through the best of times and the darkest of hours, she knows how America can change. Yes we can.
America, we have come so far. We have seen so much. But there is so much more to do. So tonight, let us ask ourselves - if our children should live to see the next century; if my daughters should be so lucky to live as long as Ann Nixon Cooper, what change will they see? What progress will we have made?
This is our chance to answer that call. This is our moment. This is our time - to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; to reclaim the American Dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth - that out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope, and where we are met with cynicism, and doubt, and those who tell us that we can't, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people:
Yes We Can. Thank you, God bless you, and may God Bless the United States of America.

I am happy..
although i'm receiving annoying sms's every hour..
phone calls from the 'fan ham' and 'nono' every hour..
although my eyes are swollen..
although i might lose my job anytime..
although i might fall sick again..
but i am still happy...
and i'm smiling from my heart...

In a poll carried out by Gallup Organization, involving over a million employees and 80,000 managers, it was revealed that “what most employees want, more than anything else is a good boss”. This was the most influential factor affecting both employee retention and performance. Curt Coffman, former lead researcher at Gallup says that “If you have a turnover problem look first to your managers,” he asserts. “People leave managers, not companies.” This was reiterated by Marcus Buckingham (author of ‘First Things First’ together with Curt Coffman) when he said "So much money has been spent at the challenge of keeping good people - in the form of better pay, better perks and better training - when, in the end, turnover is mostly a superior-subordinate relationship issue." Therefore if you have a turnover problem in your company, look first to your managers.
I would think that of all the factors that create stress at the workplace, the bad boss is probably the worst, because this factor impacts the employee directly on a daily basis. Employees who are well managed can forgive many of their company’s shortcomings but when they are badly managed, the result will usually be unhappiness, reduced efficiency and eventually high staff turnover. Different superiors can stress out employees in different ways, from being a control freak to being too pushy, to being too critical etc.
All superiors must therefore take a cold, hard look at themselves and answer these questions as objectively as possible:
a. Do I demonstrate care and concern to my staff?
b. Are my staff clear about my work expectations and objectives?
c. Do I create a work environment where my staff are able to produce their best?
d. When was the last time I recognized or appreciated any of my staff?
e. Am I objective enough to receive honest feedback about my performance and behavior as a manager from my staff?
An objective answer to all these questions would most certainly provide you with valuable feedback as to how you are managing your subordinates. Importantly, take decisive action and ‘CHANGE’ so as to become a better superior. You will become a happier person when your staff are happy with you!!! Importantly, happy people are more productive, efficient and loyal!!

Dramatic... Dramatic!!
I had a restless night.. last night..
I have a friend, who is young and energetic..
who has a loving family with an understanding hubby and a lovely son..
but she doesn't know what she really wants.. in life..
the common line she uses is - 'you made me confused!'
I - in fact live in a totally opposite side of the world..
I am a goals driven person, I laugh when I am happy, I curse and scream when I am angry, I cry and I cry it all out when I am sad.. I am just being who I am, I know who I really am and what I really want..
But her, on the other hand..
Does things without directions, she laughs whenever she feels like laughing, scream and swear whenever she feels like it, dunno what is the true meaning of crying.. She doesn't know what she wants, who she really is.. and even confused about her current life.. don even mention about the future.. to her, there is no such things as planning and future..
I spend most of my time listening to her, patiently..
helping her to continue 'walking' straight and ahead..
always be there when she needs a friend..
But it seems/sounds like my problem when I treat my friend TOO nice..
yes. my best fren has warned me on that before.. she thinks that I am over friendly.. and that might cause trouble.
but that's me..
love hanging out with friends, living for good food.. annoyed by small little things..
sigh.. isn't that what we called 'life'?!
now I even need to be extra careful when making a female friend..
Why am I not surprise?!

MAMMA MIA! Live in Malaysia!

The world's best musical based on the story of A mother, A daughter, 3 possible dads, and the songs of ABBA.
Writer Catherine Johnson's sunny, funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.
The story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, and every night everyone’s having the time of their lives!

Life Path #6
You posses great compassion and you seek to be of service to others. You have concern for the weak and the downtrodden. You are a healer and a helper to others. You are capable of giving comfort to those in need, and you frequently offer a shoulder for others to cry on.
Your task in life is to develop the tools necessary to be truly helpful to others, rather than to simply be a sympathetic ear. You must find the balance between help and interference. In the same way, you must learn the delicate art of the counselor who knows when to leave the struggle to others and when to avoid taking away the necessary experiences and lessons of life.
You are naturally balanced. Therefore you are well equipped to support and ground others in times of trial.
It is your tendency to take responsibility, you often fill the void left by others, and you do not turn away from personal sacrifice. At times, you may feel overburdened by the travails of others. However, the love others bestow upon you is your well-deserved reward.
You try to maintain harmony within the family or group balancing and fusing divergent forces. You seek marriage and you are often a wonderful parent, offering warmth, protection and understanding to children.
You are generous, kind and attractive. You are often admired, even adored, which baffles you. You are humble, and yet carry a deep pride, You move well and gracefully, but will have to work hard to stay in shape. Seek out physical exercise and limit the sweets and dairy you crave, to keep yourself from becoming plump and round.
When young you, you must be careful not to choose partners for the wrong reasons. Do not let sentimentally influence your decisions, especially those involving the choice of a spouse. You need to be needed, but you must learn to discriminate between those you can help and others who are made weaker by your care. After all, it is in you nature to be attracted to weaker brothers and sisters among us.
The temptation and the danger for you are to think of yourself as the savior of the world carrying the burdens of others in your shoulders.
You are blessed with musical talent, as well as talent in the visual and performing arts. However, your creativity may be suppressed due to your willingness to sacrifice or your inability to fully appreciate your talents. This is not to say that you cannot excel in these areas, on the contrary, you have the talent, and with effort you can make success in a number of artistic fields.
You also have enormous talent in business. You are blessed with a great deal of charm and charisma, which you use effectively to attract the people and the support you need. Other vocations that offer you potential for success are mostly found in the areas of healing, teaching, hospitality, management of apartment complex or government institutions, and anything related to animals.

Day by day..
Who has the patience?
To be with someone who lives in fear, lies, the past and denial..
To deal with disagreements, demands, and coldness everyday..
To accept someone who doesn't love him/herself..
I always say that I wanted someone who loves me and cares about me..
However.. I push people away..
So one by one, day by day, years gone by..
I can now imagine myself in my 40s - a lady who is still living her life alone but happily..
wearing her glasses, enjoying a cup of her favorite caramellatte.. :)

End of the day, I only wish to enjoy my life, my way, everyday.

The jealous type..
one thing leads to another.. I'm trying to chain things up.. and see what's the root..
-> not sensitive -> jealousy -> disagreements -> lack of attention -> lack of communication -> lack of focus -> no commitment -> no connection ->

My eyes hurttttttttttttttt
my eyes really hurt.... arghhhhh... itchy...... and very irritating..
since last week..
I have no more mood to talk or do anything....... :(
since last week..
I have no more mood to talk or do anything....... :(
I think it's really time..
1 month / 1 week / 54 days / 44 days / 15 days...
These numbers are already a history..
Commitment, Communications and Connection
A relationship can merely last if it operates without these 3Cs..
'Takes 2 hands to clap' - this old saying which we used to demostrate how relationships have to be is really outdated already..
And this new saying - 'if it's to be, it's up to me' that we have learnt from the same place is really true.. 1 relationship can only work out if everyone thinks this way..
So I know it's me.. it's me who has no patience to build these..
Finally, what needs to be said are said and done..
and this blog is finally being edited to fit the ending of the story..
It's also a new begining if you see it from a different point of view.
Good luck & take care..

What were you doing when Tsunami striked?
What were you doing at that time?
Some people were still sleeping..
Some were happily having breakfast/lunch..
Some were unwrapping their Christmas presents..
Some were laughing..
Some were working..
Or maybe singing, enjoying, shopping, eating, etc etc..
I was watching 'Kung Fu' with my ex boss.. laughed like no body business, and at the same time multitasking.. working through the phone too..
While some people out there lost their loved ones..
Some lost everything [family, shop, business, friends, etc etc..] in a split second..
1226, a number that will always on my mind..
a number that reminds me to appreciate everything I have in my life, to love those who deserves my love it's too late..

MM! MF!
Creative minds are bad with figures.. Do you agree?
Man.. I'm not creative.. but I'm bad with figures too..
oh gosh.. my maths used to be quite okay.. but it's becoming from bad to worse. Maybe I'm just lazy.. :P
a simple culculation: cost per bottle = printing cost + block charges + cost per carton + XXX + design fee / 24 bottles per carton = XXX [then culculate based on whatever other freight / delivery charges, then you can finally find out what is the minimum order of the bottles as well as the label printing required.]
But I hate these..... -__- cos I need to think.. :P
Btw, do you know what is MM?? and.. MF? :)

Tribute to NZ

This is a place that I can never forget..
A place that is filled with love, warmth, harmonies, and happiness, but at the same time, I felt hatreds, sadness, angers and cold..
Well.. isn't that just life!
Nevertheless, it is a very nice place to visit..
All 4 seasons.. are really beautiful...
Trust me.. you'd love this place.. :)
